Hawaii (HA) Department of Human Resources

The Hawaii (HA) Department of Human Resources is a tool that is put in place for all of us that live within the state. We can turn to this department for all types of help including unemployment help, insurance help, and worker’s compensation help as well as for business related needs that we have such as licensing. Yet, the board does much more than just provide us with these programs. In fact, most of us would not realize that it does hold such a role within our every day lives.

Nevertheless, one report that the Hawaii Department of Human Resources puts out is that of the Hot Careers Review. In the state, this report shows what careers are the most in demand currently as well as those that have the largest potential growth in the next five to ten years. In most cases, the department uses this as a way of gauging the economy of the state as well as it helps with program training and guidance for that aspect.

In the state of Hawaii, one of the most in demand jobs currently is that of security guards with an expected growth over the next five or so years to be that of between 20% and 35%. In addition, waitress staff is expected to grow to ten to twenty percent, postsecondary teachers are expected to grow at a large 36 percent or more, retail sales people are needed at a rate of grow of under 10 percent and housekeeping staff is also in demand at that of a rate of ten to twenty percent growth.

The Hawaii Department of Human Resources is one in which the goal is to provide the highest level of growth and potential to each of us. Providing us with this information allows us to find the best overall benefit to our future. This department provides all types of information that can allow us to make the best decisions overall.
