Safety Posters

We’ve covered Safety Posters once already today and how important they are. But I haven’t gotten into yet how diverse they are, and how many industries and occupation types that they can cover.

For instance, Safety Posters can be used for construction sites. There are a whole assortment of Safety Posters just for such things as forklift safety issues, hard hat requirements, plastic eye goggle requirements, and other good safety measures that you would think necessary for any safe construction site.

There are also Safety Posters for workers who deal with hazardous chemicals. These can include whole sets of posters for different types of substances, which can then be posted at the work site where workers are either using or storing these chemicals. These particular Safety Posters can tell employees what to expect if they’ve been exposed to these dangerous chemicals, and more importantly, what to do if they have been exposed to them.

Besides these obvious uses for Safety Posters, employers of office workers can surprisingly take advantage of their own type of Safety Posters. “What, are you kidding me?” I can hear you construction guys asking me. “What, do they need Safety Posters for paper cuts, or cramps in their pinkie fingers?”

Well, guys, believe it or not, but office workers have safety issues too. They may not be as debilitating as say, a forklift accident, or a heavy steel beam falling five stories onto somebody’s unprotected skull, but they can lead to workers’ comp issues and disabilities none the less.

For instance, office posters could include graphics and text that instruct workers to spend time each day looking away from the computer screen. Staring too long at a computer screen has been known to cause neurological and eye issues. Stretching warnings on a Safety Posters are also key, as working in a bad position at a computer and desk all day can lead not only to soreness, but eventually back and joint problems.
